i'm sure we all know about LC brass for the 06 aan garand.
anyone use LC brass in the carbine? same quality/relaibility as the 06 stuff?

Yes. It is US Govt/Military produced brass from the Lake City contract facility. Has to meet or exceed the military standard. I have alot of it and it reloads fine.

LC Carbine brass is excellent and has no primer crimp. The WRA and WCC brass is crimped, FWIW.

don...are you sure the LC had NO crimp? i have a chance to get some and the seller says he believes it has. maybe its that small one can't tell ? he says its from 60-70s production

Only Winchester and Western used a crimped primer in their .30 carbine ammo made during WW2 and Korea.

I believe this to be correct. I have never seen LC brass with a crimp.
