This site used to cater to assembly/dissasembly of rifles particularly surplus ones. Can't access to the site anymore. Anybody knows if they have a new website?

Been covered in previous posts, the owner is letting the site expire, no idea if he will sell or give the material to other forums for knowledge base. I believe their forum was still available, for how long is only a guess.

If you want to download their materials, you can access snapshots of the site through the wayback machine (http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://www.surplusrifle.com). You can check out the previous discussion in this thread (http://forums.thecmp.org/showthread.php?t=54530).

Yes indeed friend...old news actually...but a few days away from your favorite forum allows for easily missing stuff. Based on my forum lurking the consensus
seems to be it is gone forever. Apparently the forum owner has been approached by several folks to give them or perhaps even sell them the historical material so the site could be reestablished and he apparently has never responded. Some of the material is archived on the wayback machine site but unknown how much. Apparently a wealth of information is gone. :(

I believe the owner is still selling all the tutorials on disc.

Try this address, it seems to be working fine. It'll let you get at the PDFs without going through the wayback machine:
