Kind of confused, I've seen two Winchester gas cylinder locks (or so seller says)....

one has beveled lip/edge to it, the other does not?

A WRA lock will a beveled edge but that fact alone does not make it a WRA lock.

Once you see a WRA, it's easy to tell. Here is the tell tale signs of WRA. The bevel......is longer on WRA and extends almost to the edge. Sa's bevel are shorter and squared off at the end of the slope.

Iron plated the BLUED when manufactured. This finish rapidly wears off during usage and you can usually find them ( when you can find them ) in 20% - 40% finish if not refinished. WRA front end bluing is tough to find in 80% + original Blue condition. I once paid 400.00 for a complete WRA front end, 95% Dulite blue with narrow base and front sight seal intact Late 90's....and YES, WRA front sight seals are night and day compared to SA. That lesson at another time and another post.
