TMP Stock - 12/04
 

This update is very lacking in details, but I walked by the store this morning (did not go in) and all of the racks behind the counter were full and about half of the floor racks were full......I would guestimtate it at about 50 rifles all told.

Everything on the wall is 4mil and 5mil IHC gap letters. The floor racks have 4mil and 5mil IHC's, if I recall correctly. There are some M1C's and some of the grade with new barrels and stocks..I forget what those are called. Specials? Some SA of those.

None of the IHC's in the store are amongst the serial numbers that Rolling Thunder is looking for - I checked every rifle. There were a couple of 4.44's but they were scooped up earlier this week.

are any of the IHCs in the 980 to 1080 price range or are all of them gap letters in the 1500 to 2000 price range or half and half.

When I was there both were available, but the lower priced IHC's were dwindling.

When I left at 11:00 this morning there was 30-40 IHC Gap left behind the counter. about 60/40 split 4 mil/5 mil gaps price 2100 and 1900.
There was about a half rack of IHC field? for 1030.
3 special rack SA 750
4 special field SA 950
1 SA Service 800
5-10 M1C 3105 One had matching base and lock bar sight, I just could not pull the trigger, pun intended:)

How pitted were the special rack rifles?

2 of three had signs of old pitting on the sides of the receiver. The third had the heel markings sandblasted down some, I almost took this one. I ended up with an IHC 5 Mil Gap and a Special Field with an early WWII receiver.

I apologize if this Q has been answered elsewhere…have there been any WRA’s surface recently at TMP ?

If by recently you mean the last 2 months, I have not seen any.
