Yes seller can delete his post

Yes a seller can delete there thread. Been seeing more of this bad behavior here lately. Post his user name and ask him to reply. I would try to get his attention here first.

Don't blame a mod, in reality, what do you want them to do? They could personally email the user I suppose, but to tell you the truth, they don't want to get in the middle? Would you want to get in the middle? And it would happen several times a month. And do the mods get paid for helping out in normal situations, let alone deals between folks?

I would think a mod would have the capability to resurrect a thread.

what did he sell you, did others get ripped off?

Who was it that sold you the items?

Deleated threads on most forums go to a hidden garbage section that can be easily retrieved

The ad I'm assuming you are referring to is open. Initially it was deleted because the seller did not have his first/last name/state in his profile. Try to work it out with the seller and use the Feedback Forum, that's what it's for. That's the only advice I can give...

It looks like he still visits the forums as his statistics show he viewed yesterday.
