Gas lock help

I have a Garand that I am unable to get the gas lock plug off. I am looking to see if someone has the tool in Utah to take this off that also has the spline tool to keep the barrel from moving.

Use a 1/4 inch drive ratchet with extension. Fits the cross slot gas screw perfectly

I like to use a gas cylinder wrench too, for tightening and loosening the plug. It takes the twisting stress off the barrel and splines. You can crank away with all your might, and no worries. Also use when tightening the front sight

A large crescent wrench works well and does not damage the finish if you put a piece of paper between wrench and parts.

Quarter inch drive and crescent wrench worked like a charm.

Thank you
