Anyone know anybody who can swap barrels here in Arkansas? I talked to a guy in Cape Giradeau, Mo. who's covered up and said it would be a while.

yea, I talked to him about a year ago. I heard that he was an awesome 'smith but he wanted more than I wanted to pay. I sent it to Suff's.

Tool to do it yourself are not that high if going from G.I. to G.I. Barrel , not much more to cut chamber .

i TOOK AN ORIGINAL 1903a4 RECEIVER AND PARTS FOR HIM TO ASSEMBLE AND RE-PARKERIZE OVER 18 MONTHS AGO AND HE HAS DONE NOTHING. NOW CANNOT GET HIM ON THE PHONE.

I live in the Little Rock area and I've always sent my stuff to Shuff's. Be it M1's or even M-14s. Does a good job, good turn around time, and reasonable price.
