Monthly Average of 1911s Shipped

I asked this question on the ASK CMP THREAD:
Can you provide the monthly average of 1911s shipped?
Based on the unofficial Order Thread which is currently at about 12,000 and shipping starting on or about 1 NOV 18, I'm tracking about 800 per month. Is this about right?
ANYONE TRACKING THIS?

I can only wonder why anyone would want to be tracking this.

I donít think we need to give this information to the anti-gun folks who monitor this and every other gun forum. Many of us could make an educated guess but only the CMP knows the answer and their not telling.

If asked on the “Ask CMP” section why ask here?
Yes people are tracking it, just like you.
CMP has a history of not answering these types of questions, especially online.
The common reason: why do you need that info? And what benefit will CMP gain by releasing it?
The tracking thread here has more than enough information to determine an accurate monthly average or any other statistical derivative you choose to calculate.
I suggest you remember that the thread shows RNG numbers which are not representative of actual pistols shipped. Without knowing how many are not shipped (person declined, was in the slam, had no money, failed the background, app rejected.....) we must assume the number of pistols sipped is less than the number of RNGs shipped each month.
The statistical pool is large enough to very accurately predict the monthly rng production but not large enough to predict the portion of RNGs not shipped.

# shipped

More than happy to answer your question, we have nothing to hide. Remember that there are numerous unknown factors but we are shipping between 1 and 100,000 a month. But please do not not hold us to that as this is a guess.

No need to broadcast that information.
