Spotting Scopes Angled or Straight?

I'm thinking of getting a new Spotting Scope. Which type of Spotting Scopes Angled or Straight? Is best for bench rest and prone shooting.

Angled for prone.
I look down into the eye piece when shooting standing, kneeling, sitting and prone.
At the bench, I set my scope up and turn the eye piece to the side and look straight into it.
All of this assumes you have a proper scope stand and the rear of the scope body can rotate and that the eye piece can move with the rear of the scope.

I prefer angled for prone shooting.

You don't have to break your position to see into it. Just turn your head slightly (if setup properly on an appropriate stand).

It helps you hold your position better, if set properly you only have to move your head a little. straight scope you have to come out of your hold to see.

Yep, +1

Definitely angled, with a body that rotates in the mount.

Don't buy a straight scope, you'll just end up buying an angled one shortly thereafter. Ask me how I know.

Have you thought about a "target camera"? Since I started using one the spotting scope goes to the range but stays in the truck.
