M1 trigger

I have a CMP service grade SA that has a long creepy 6 pound pull. No first stage. I remember a thread where Lapriester had a procedure for a trigger job
complete with pictures. I have done several searches to no avail. Can someone tell me how to find it?
Thanks.

And read this one first. Feel free to PM me anytime with any questions. I won't be home for several day though. On a hunting trip.

If anyone cares, it was the hammer. I installed a new one and got the two stage pull back with about a seven pound pull. I broke the parkerization with the laps recommended by Lapriester and now get a six pound pull. I will shoot it for awhile and if it stays at six pounds I will lap it down to five pounds. Thanks to all for the help.

I just want to note that pull weight is not always the end all. Smooth and crisp.
My over all best trigger is about 6# with it heavy loaded to the first stage. 2nd stage is light and crisp.
I also lost almost a pound smoothing out the contact points on the hammer/safety/trigger any where the flats contact. Heck even look at your pins real close. Make sure they dont want to spin with rhe hammer or trigger when moved.
Just to note. I can get my 513t down to about 3lbs with the adjustments but it feels awful. Set to around 5lbs it smooths out. I dont understand why but it does.

If the creep is gone after the first stage go VERY slowly as you try and reduce the poundage. It will come off very quickly from that 6# after the creep is gone. If you happen to go to far it's partially correctable. If you go way too far you'll be buying another hammer. PM me if you feel uncomfortable about continuing from where you are. It's simple enough with caution but also simple enough to muck up if you get in a hurry. Did I say go slow?;)

I've always liked the two stage trigger pull that some mil-sup weapons have....
