I guess I shouldn't have chosen "Sgt. Saunders" as a user name tho, since he almost always carried a Thompson...but that's where I first saw a Garand, and I just always thought Saunders was the COOLEST...he just LOOKED like a WWII GI should look, in my eyes!!
