Shooters share rifles all the time. No big deal. I have lent rifles to people to shoot who were in a jam. Guys I didn't even know. It's easy to do because I have seen it done at matches every since I have started shooting CMP matches.

Like someone else mentioned ....just make sure you and your son are on different relays (preferably the same firing point).
