Ouch! I still remember seeing a Remington M1903 - 3,000,800 - the stock had been crudely cut down (it had a beautiful pristine "RLB" inspection stamp) and a 10-41 RA barrel. All kinds of atrocities had been performed on the receiver. It broke my heart
