Default Any potential value to a worn 10/41 barrel?

I have a well used 10/41 SA barrel. ME 3+ and TE4+ but it comes very close to closing on a Field gauge. Bore is frosted and obviously saw lots of corrosive ammo. No import or Lend Lease marks. Had it changed as the rifle is going to be a shooter. Kept it for the heck of it. Really curious if it has any collector value.

Thanks

Yes it does if you find the right buyer. Not very many people restoring these early guns nowadays. Numbers are fairly high, but that is a rare bird.

yeah, I'd say that someone with the right receiver who wants to do a restoration (or semi-restoration) will want it. I myself have my eyes open for a 5/41 barrel...

I sold a early 41 barrel on ebay about 12 years ago that was pretty much toast. Didn't have gauges then, but it swallowed the bullet to the brass. It ended up selling for 150 bucks after a little bidding war which really surprised me.... I just couldn't bring myself to throwing it away. Glad I didn't.

Don't be too hasty to get rid of it. Sounds marginal but rare!

Thanks, I was more curious than anything. Is an interesting piece in itself.

Sorry, no intent on selling but will keep in mind if at some point I do.
