Default You have too many parts when.....

I purchased a B/R, when making a mental (dangerous) list of the stuff I needed, I thought to myself-a bolt, I need a bolt, will have to buy one on the forum. Anyway while looking for enblocs, I stumbled upon a NOS SA bolt I had. Totally forgotten about. I normally keep all my metal parts in the tray type holders. Everything from bullet guides- butt plates. Any way as luck would have it, I have everything I need for my next build. I'm kinda scared to do an inventory to realize the potential.

'You have enough parts when...' could be an alternative title. But then that would indicate that some number could even represent "enough" parts. A heretical statement, it is.

If someone said they had “MORE than enough parts too.....”.

Would that get their forum membership revoked?

Or just ridiculed mercilessly?

Don't worry about it man. I have had more than one occurrence where I purchased a part that I already had.
Funny thing is that I ended up using that part on another project

it's all good,

Try moving every few years. You realized just how much inventory you have and its stupid funny. Then then you shove it somewhere you’re sure to find it for the next project. Then the next project comes along and, damm it cant find that part you know you have and have to get an extra, but you saw a really good deal so bought some extra in case you misplaced the one you really needed. BUT eventually it will pay off, years later......

Jason-- No such thing as too many parts. Just too much money tied up in parts I look for good deals for real GI parts. I am closing in on being broke. I wonder if I can eat an op rod? Do they taste good? Oh well, not that bad yet. Having more fun fixing and building than I should be allowed to have. JIM
