After waiting 2 years 4 months and 16 days my random number of 18810 finally came up. I got my US Property Marked 1911A1. Remington Rand Slide and Colt Frame. Service Grade and it’s really like new inside and locks up tight. Very happy.

I was RNG 18813 and chose Field grade. I asked for one as original as possible (didn't want one heavily re-parked if possible).

Received a RR (late 1944) receiver with a Colt slide, finish looks good:

Rebuild "A 5 81" so I'm guessing from the other threads on this that its a USMC Albany rebuild in 81. The barrel is an undated 7791193 replacement. Grips looks like cold war era but are slightly different shades (right side is a little redder?)

Came with the standard Mecgar magazine.

Overall very happy, don't shy away from Field grades!

RNG - 18546 , got the call 12-29-20 and after much back and forth with myself chose FG. Very happy I did ! I don’t see any rebuild indicators other then the RR slide and Ithaca Frame. Beyond pleased and love the “ been there done that “ look. There is what appears to be a stamp on the right side of the frame . It’s picture #3 if someone can identify it please!

Did you remove the firing pin stop and confirm that the serial number on the slide matches the frame?
Colt stamped slides with serial numbers from s/n 710001 to about 1139xxx. The serial on your frame (902xxx) is in this range.
