I was going to just bring Garands, but I think, since they're eligible, I might bring along an AR and a Carbine or two...my better half is 5'2" and 110 lbs; I'm not sure she'll enjoy the Garand as much as I do.

I'll bring the paratrooper, if you're interested in kicking some tires, too.

I won't be able to check the mail box until Sunday. As of right now we still have chairs available so go to the CMP page of Linden Sportsmen Club, down load the forms and mail them in with your payment ASAP and you should be in good shape.

We do support M1 Carbines in this event but for best results I'd suggest an M1 or AR. These shoot minute of angle, Carbines will usually shoot minute of man. Either way bring the rifle you prefere.

Well I'm going to give it a shot, I'll probably bring my son, since he's been my shooting buddy for a while now. Hey, does anybody know what age makes him a junior? He's 17 right now, but he'll be 18 by the time of the match. Looks like I better get the paperwork going for the registration.

Was interested in that, too...I have a 14 and a 16 year old coming with me.

They're juniors up to at least 18, not sure if it's older than that.

ETA: Juniors are age 20 and below, just found it in the rules. So you're still good!

Two week to go until our annual rifle clinic at LSC. The instructors and coaches and all signed on. The supplies and ammunition for the students are now in stock and the lunch menu has been set. All is ready at Linden Sportsmen Club for the big day and this years new shooters. I was at the club this morning, picked up my mail and have signed in the latest group. We're getting close to full but there are still Six Seats Available and still time to get your registration mailed in!
