Stopped by for a few minutes to check the CMP Specials in .308. Looking for a certain S/N range but not to be found among the 12-15 in the rack. All fine rifles, though! Maybe a dozen chrome 1917's as noted in another thread; good deal at $250 if you like chrome. Six Service Grade WIN-13's, all in new CMP wood. Four with Greek park (I guess, looked like they had been painted with high gloss rustoleum), one I'm not sure and one original finish. I nicknamed the one with original finish "tangerine", the stock was that orange! The uncertain finiish rifle has a WRA bolt, didn't check the internals, SA '55 barrel with MW of 1.
A brief report, I realize, but didn't have much time. |

Handwritten description/price placard above the rack: WRA SG $795.00
Checking the hangtags, they all said WIN-13. Just reporting what I saw. |

I'm glad somebody got to enjoy those WIN-13's that we found at the convention.

I've been kicking myself for not bringing one of them home with me, and it's hard to kick yourself back there, with an artificial knee !!
