No, the barrel is a replacement. Original barrels are marked with an RA/date stamp. Interestingly, High Standard made barrels for Smith Corona M1903A3s - all marked with an SC, though!

High Standard also made replacement 03 barrels so it is a correct arsenal overhaul rifle. I believe they also made replacement 1917 Rifle barrels as well as 03A3 barrels. All marked "HS" with the month and year
