Great intel, Ammolab. Much appreciated. Should have thought of those controls. I just blew off two of the same empty rounds, dated them, then suspended them over an open drain, with running water, maybe a few inches below, and let them chill for 5 days. I still have many of the DR 30 Carbine empties, and would love to do a test as you prescribe. Pretty sure I have some known corrosive 30-06 laying around to sacrifice. I had some steel-cased WW1 45 ammo that was so corrosive it turned mild steel into an orange Cheese Doodle in a day or two, so maybe I thought this DR ammo would have the same effect. Will work on that controlled test as you suggest, ASAP. Thanks

Yep, just remember to clean your barrel between “pops” of different primers and when done if using your rifle to fire primers.
