Default Finally got it

So I received the call March 18th and was given the choice of all grades, selected service grade. Then unfortunately all this crap kicked off and had to wait but just picked it up yesterday after much anticipation.

I havent stripped it down yet but from what I can see I have an Ithaca slide on a Colt frame ser. 1707480. Dont see any readily identifiable arsenal markings. There is what appears to be a 7 stamped on the trigger guard on the right side and again above the trigger on the left side, the ghd on the left side behind the trigger guard, a P next to the mag release on the left side and then a lowercase e on the front of the left side trigger guard. Also an unidentifiable mark behind the grips on the right side near the slide . Grips appear to be Bakelite and the barrel is marked 45 Auto 7791193.

Going to try to do some research to see if it saw combat. Thinking I did pretty well for my $1100 as I was hoping I would get something without many reproduction parts that I wouldn't feel bad about shooting.

"Also an unidentifiable mark behind the grips on the right side near the slide ."

That appears to be an "ordinance wheel"
