Agree. Probably not what some want to hear but pretty much how it is.

Here is a photo of two M1D barrel blocks.

The one on the left is what I believe to be an older reproduction, and is identical to yours (minus the welding and pinhole). The one on the right is a current Numerich reproduction. Notice the difference in the edges closest to the camera. The block on the left has sharp corners. The one on the right has filleted or chamfered corners, which are shown on the official drawings for this part, and you will see on any legit M1D barrel.

So, of the current reproductions, are any of them better than the others? Or, are they all made by the same Chinese company?
