Default Greetings from West Tennessee

Hello All,
I've been lurking on these forums for a while and decided to join. I'm a novice rifle shooter, so I expect my learning curve will be quite steep. I look forward to what the group has to offer!

Welcome Jason, and I'll second 4th AD son's comment.
Beginner, novice, expert...we all start somewhere and you'll find quite a range in breadth/depth of experience here with many helpful people to offer you help, even with questions you may not ask!
Matter of fact, there are some really good guys from TN here, such as the other Rob (rob30-06), though he's much further east of you. But very helpful nonetheless.
Have any mil-surps in the stable?

Again, welcome and regards,
Rob

Thanks Rob!
As the saying goes, better late than never. I qualified with the M16A1/A2 a couple of times but I don't really remember much from the classes. I remember, I didn't like cleaning the M16!
The stable includes a couple of mixmaster, CMP Service Grade M1s and a complete beater of a 2.5 mil SA that I'm hoping the CMP can get running right again.

Yeah, the base has sure changed from what it used to be.
Funny you should mention the gun show. I just saw the billboard recently and was going to swing by this weekend. I went a couple of years ago, but it was mostly modern stuff. Hopefully, there will be some "antique" venders this time around.
