Not certain this will work but here is a slideshow of my pride and joy. An unissued and unshot 3/43 1903A3. Bought in 1947 at the Denver Federal Center by the original owner, never shot. Bought by the second owner in the 1970's, never shot. Bought by a friend of mine in 2010 from the second owner, never shot to my knowledge. I have never shot it since I bought it from my friend, the second owner also in 2010. It resides in the darkest corner of my best safe and only sees the light of day once a year or so for maintenance or when I want to show it off. I actually called the Remington Museum and asked if they would take it as a donation when I'm dead and gone and they expressed no interest. Go figure. It may end up in the Cody Firearm Museum one day since when I toured it during the GCA Convention I failed to see another like example of the same rifle, in the sme condition on display. I still have the pictured original box with a flaming bomb stamp and the original wax paper the bolt was stored in. Included with the rifle was a Kerr type sling that wasn't original issue (1" wide, unmarked) and I've been told that these were produced commercially in the late 40's. Apparently it wasn't uncommon for them to be included with purchases such as this one back then. Inside the butt stock was an untouched and unopened oiler with all the components packed in their original configuration inside. There is no paperwork but it's obvious what this jewel is to anyone who has observed it first hand. The pics also make it pretty obvious. Hope the slide show works.

I bought a 1934 SA 1903 a couple yrs ago that came with a Remington 1903A3 stock.
Decided to try the new CMP walnut 1903 "S" stock (Boyd's).
A little sanding required for upper and lower bands.
Receiver dropped right in with no problem! Decided to use the old handguard ( it had the metal clips ).
Very Happy with the quality of the stock! Thanks CMP!
