Do I have a problem with using a gun made in China ..well yes but my understanding is the receivers were made using original machining equipment brought from us. Would I rather it be and original M14/M1A ..well of course but as I stated I cant buy one until I move out of Md so I have to work with what I got.

I’ve shot thousands of rounds through my two with no issues. They still headspaced within spec for nato. The one I replaced barrel and bolt in was to install NM barrel because I always have to mess with stuff to try and make it better. I do my own work and that’s part of my addiction to these, garands and carbines.

JRL.... I too do my own work...I had work done by folks in the past that was poorly done so I tooled up, read a bunch and did my own work. I had Jon Wolfe do a barreled receiver for me on a LRB because I was afrade of screwing it up ( Mucho $$$$), but Garands and Carbines I do on my own.

Hi,
I would not insult a Polytech/Norinco M14 by calling it a "M1A"!

That is for SAI M14 clones only!

At this time I only own BULA and Chi-Com M14's and I'm happy with that!

The only thing I would HAVE to change on an in box Chi Com M14 would be the rear sight set!

Lies, lies propaganda-- all lies.

Norinco M14 made with steel forging. Great rifle by proud comrades making. Barrel on my rifle not out falling. Firmly in place seating.

Me capitalist bolt TRW adding. Also fascist rear sights of Beretta. Now totally magnificent weapon.

Cannot compare weapon by capitalist cheapniks making. Anyone different saying is dirty counter revolutionary.
