Default Blackfeather DMR

CQB-16 type SEI set up as a compact DMR

I can switch to an Aimpoint Comp M4 without messing with a cheek riser.

If you require a butt stock that folds, I recommend the SFU from HERA.
I've tried them, and they are very nice - just not something I need.

Another look with some available accessories.

Plenty of options out there.
Bula Defense Systems CBR is the tops in my book.
Carbon fiber and rugged as Chesty.
Assembled using CMP Winchester A kit.

And it shoots too.

I had the little 16.25" out at my friends private range a week or so ago, and it was easy to bang steel at 200 yards with the low power Leupold.
I still need to zero it in though, just too busy with other things these days.

Sweet! Sooooo... are you gonna bring that to the CMP long range matches?? If the draft of ruling 4.1.5 stays as it is, our DMR platforms are welcome.

What are the chances ruling 4.1.5 stays as is?

I hope they leave that ruling alone! Would be cool to see various DMRs and sniper clones compete and it looks like Palmas are included under "match rifle." This is a good thing!

I love the traditional stocks but they tend to shift around POI with any changes in the weather / Humidity. Even off the bipod or a ruck my POI differs. I am somewhat of an accuracy fanatic. They are also heavy but very fragile if subjected to rough treatment.

The Blackfeather RS is lighter and tough as nails and never any shift due to weather. (No pistol grip gimmicks for me unless its on an AK where it belongs) Also mine is a shorty and it shoots sub moa without the heavy forward piece that bolts down the barrel to the stock & thus an extra weight savings. Mine has fallen out of the mule and got run over with absolutely no impact change. Try that with a beautiful GI hand rubbed and varnished National Match stick.( I have.) That's why I love them ACOG's also. Tougher than a Crusty old Marine, Huh Gunny?
