Default M14 G&H base HELP

I acquired a base that allows mounting of a Griffin & Howe M1C mount on a M14/M1A rifle.

It was attached to the G&H mount I bought bought for a M1C project.
I have no use for it.

I did mount it on my M1A and it fits real nice.
I know nothing about it and never seen one.
Any info and maybe a value would help me find it a new home for it.

Can you post some pics? There were some repros made of the AWC mount/base.

Even the repros are expensive.

There was a base, M1C mount, and m84 that sound a year or so ago on Gunbroker and it sold a little less than $2500 if I remember right.

But you are talking maybe $1500 for the original M1C Mount, and a $1000 for the scope. So I don't think that is a great way of figuring a price for the base itself.

I have one that I paid I think $300 for. But I have no clue if that is the going rate or not. I just saw it and bought it.

There is a demand for them, but only to a very limited market. Since the parts to complete it, the M1C mount, are expensive. Unless you have a M1C mount already, or you sell the M1C mount with it. It might be a limited market.

I do have a use for the mount and scope it's already mounted on a M1C that I have.
I have no use for the base. I figured I would first see if it was actually a G&H base or a repop then most likely offer it for sale here in the WTS forums..

If original it would be an RIA/AWS not G&H.

Learned something so far.
Now the big question is is it one or the other?
Or repop?

G&H did not make an M14 base. They were either RIA/AWS OR REPRO.

Can someone verify maker of this by photographs I have provided?
Also would the knob have come with it installed permanently like other M14 mounts?
