Default Gas Trap auction

Hello guys... I have no association with this auction ad on gunsamerica, but thought I would post it in case this is a legit gas trap rifle. Does it appear to be an original, or at least a correct, example? Curious what our resident experts here on the forum have to say about it.

Looks like lots wrong with this one, appears to be the later finish seen on many rebuilds, internals are wrong, as is the rear sights and op rod. No close ups of the gas cylinder but the finish looks to me like a repro. The SPG marking looks fake from what I can see, there is a ghost of a box to the front of it. Ad says it's an "original" gas trap and says someone's "uncle had it from WWII".

I'm not an expert, not like some of the folks on here. The description on the auction was tough to read much since there was an ad pasted over the top. I just think the finish on the gas cylinder looks a little like the Rat Worx cylinder I have on my type 2 GT "replica" or fake. A few years back I looked at the real GTs Bubba1 brought to the CMP convention at Talladega. The cylinders have a type of patina to them that is missing on this one. Rolling Thunder has a record of this receiver having a 50s dated barrel so no way it is "original" as the ad says. Others here spotted all the later parts also. Thanks for posting this.

I should go pay a visit and point out all wrong with it lol. He's about 30 minutes from me. I'm not even an expert by any means and can see so much wrong that I can imagine what I'm missing.
