Default Sometimes you get lucky!

Stopped by the NS this morning - walked in 5 minutes after opening. I was first and the only one in the store till about 10 a.m. Bob says to me as I walked in, 'today may be your lucky day.' He brings out an M1917 Eddystone SG rifle from the back. Apparently, it was on hold for a couple months and the gentleman called this morning at 8:20 a.m. to inform him he no longer wanted it. It is in fantastic shape! It is now safely home with me!!

Rest of store was same as previous posts.

Interesting... does that mean you could buy your 1-a-year 1917, then go back in November or December and pick out another one, put it on hold, and buy it in January?

Looks like my 1917 eddystone right down to stock and metal colors. Nice 17!
