Default Question about Carbine Match scores

Before the 4 position carbine match was instituted was there a scoring cut for Carbines in 30 and 50 round matches? If yes what were the Gold,Silver and Bronze scores. Thanks, Eddie

Not sure on 4 position but maybe the 4 stages similar to course "b"
When I started in 2004 carbines could be used in the Course "a"(30 rounds) and "b"(50 rounds) match. You would use the current M1 Garand cut scores for the Carbine
Is that what you were asking? How this helped

If I recall correctly, we always shot a 400 point match with the carbine (standing, sitting, slow and rapid prone) at the Nationals.
