IMA has some repro stuff too, obviously. They've been in that market for decades.

How's IMA vs ATF? ATF gets the nod?

Do not buy the jqmd version at ATF. Itís their Chinese knock off cheap skate version. Yes it will work, but the one made by ATF is great and last a long time.
Those do look pretty nice.

Where did the D-tip repro come from?

Here's something kind of interesting. It also appears to be fairly unique. A modern version of the GI pouch:

Not authentic but, depending on color, it might look okay with a later GI nylon sling.

If the snapless pouch is relatively loose on the stock I don't want that. I'd rather get a more correct copy and cut the snap out.

Above worth repeating

I wouldn't buy any other repro.

I ordered the "khaki" sling and original style pouch with offset snap. I would have gone with the transitional mag pouch since it is a couple bucks cheaper but it didn't say if it was the snapless model or not.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback, everyone.

Sorry to report that I'm unhappy with the stock magazine pouch.

I bought the model with the snap because I assumed, incorrectly, that it would be made to the original size. It is larger than a real one and will almost slide clean over and off the stock.

This means that the pouch is fairly loose on the gun and will easily slide forward when the rifle is in use.

Overall it appears well made but it isn't a copy of the orignal which was what I was after.
