Default Value of WRA rifle

I'm curious to know what an M14 heel adds to a usgi rifle. A friend had one that was all Winchester offered to him for sale. Configured in standard usgi format. Any ideas in a general sense? I don't have pics, just looking for a ball park idea. Thanks.

Just the fact it says Winchester on a Bula receiver. Maybe the $500. cost of the work done to add the heel over the plain receiver that was the donor.
Some think it reduces the value of the overall rifle.
I have 5 USGI heeled receivers and don't expect any windfall when and if I sell them.

Thanks, I figured it was probably dependant on the buyers want for some tie to the original military version. May I ask how you found your receivers with the original M14 maker mark?

Picked them up in for sale area on the M14 Forum. You could always post in a wanted and see what you get for a response.
I sent heels from cut M14 receivers to James River for attaching to Bula donor receivers which they supplied.
2 winchester and one of each other mfgs.

Thanks for the info from all that posted. I'll check with JRA and see what they'll do. Just so everyone knows, I did buy a demill from a member posting here. If I get it done soon, I'll post pics.
