Default Question for 1911 Adminstrator ..... rejectiions???

I have not yet received any notification from the CMP on an RNG number, or.... a rejection. ....... If I understand the process, the RNG numbers have all been assigned, right? If that's the case, will notification to those applications that were rejected be sent right away? or would they have to wait their turn in line to receive their rejection notice? Thanks for any update.....

We could have but we didn't. We are still putting the RNG's to each assigned packet, We have numbered around 7500 so far with about 11,500 to go. We hope to have everyone notified with in 60-90 days.

Default 1911 Received

I was just notified by my FFL that they received my 1911 today. It works just like CMP Admin said it would. I was notified that I had been selected randomly by email. About four weeks later I received a phone call giving me information about processing the order. About two weeks later I received notification that FedEX had sent the 1911 to my FFL. It all happened just as they said it would. Thanks CMP.

We first will try telephone number listed in order packet, if we can not make contact we will use email address provided in order packet. We will leave a voice mail and also state in email that the customer has 5 business days from date of email to contact CMP1911. I can not be any clearer then this.

I have a question regarding the FFL requirements, and hope I didn't get handicapped due to something out of my control.

The local FFL I went with has been in business for over 25 years, and is among the most respected retail shops in the area. They sent an email of their FFL to CMP1911 with my name and received confirmation back in June 2018. I sent my order packet to CMP1911 within the designated window with (as far as I was aware) all of the correct information included.

I just found out over the weekend that the business/FFL has since ceased operations and gone out of business - they never informed me of this. Only found out because I was going to go window shopping over the Christmas break - apparently they closed back in October.

What happens if/when CMP reaches my packet and the information that was previously valid is no longer valid? Thanks for your help!

Default Contact order

Ok, I couldnít find this anywhere else, so here it goes. What is the current contact order? When 1700, then 1800 were contacted and shipped,I started to get excited. Then 1900 and 2000 were contacted and shipped, I got confused.
Iím in the 1800s and wasnít called, so why where some of us passed by?
