There were 14 customers at opening and the racks were full, I was told.
Report is updated based upon getting into the store at 9:30. There were 43 empty rifle slots at 9:30, busy morning and no restock yet. Armorers today are Taska, Hunter and Colby. Stocks are mostly USGI/ CMP 80/20, saw two nice SA cartouches NFR and EMcF, couple of DAS and few rebuild stamps. I was told there were others before 9:30 and that several really nice WWII rifles were in the inventory. Personal request: Looking for SIG M17 military surplus pistol TF000063. Thanks SA SG 30/ 25/ SA 6 million 3. HRA SG 6/ FG 2 IHC SG 5/ FG 6/ Gap letter 4 million 2. WRA SG 12/ FG zero CMP Special SA/HRA 1/ FG 11. Good pickings this morning. I got lucky and was part of the 8:30 group. Picked up a nice 6 digit service grade with a beautiful GAW stock with no rebuild markings.

There were 27 empty rifle slots at closing. Good luck on your searches. |

Got in at 9:30 and the racks had been hit hard. There were 38 empty slots. There were several RRAD and a beautiful LEAD rebuild which I couldn’t believe was still there with a beautiful SA GAW stock with a great orange triangle stamp that I tried to pass to new customers in the store but couldn’t find anyone interested!!! They missed the opportunity. It was one of the nicest LEAD rebuilds I’ve seen in the store and was my gem of the morning. Armorers today are Taska, Ellyn and Hunter. SA SG 27/ FG 20/ SA 6 million 2. I was there yesterday morning, in the first group in at 8am. Went in wanting a Winchester, and was pleasantly surprised to find a lone Service Grade marked “WIN-13” among the others!
This was my first CMP purchase and first time at the CMP. This was many years in the making, and it lived up to the hype. Got there early, the same time as a few others from all over the country, and everyone was so excited—the time spent waiting for the doors to open passed so quickly. The staff was so accommodating as well, there early to take our paperwork and let us in if we needed to use the restroom. So fun to be around so many others as interested in the hobby as I am. Can’t wait for the next trip. EDIT: Pics: https://imgur.com/a/h6D08Tq Last edited by M1Rifleman; 02-26-2021 at 11:47 AM. |
