I was in -40 for a week when I lived in New Hampshire. It should be illegal.

For anyone who’s never been ice fishing this pretty much sums it up
Good times
That is exactly what it's like except the wind whipping across the ice is missing.

Spent 13 days in the field (in tents) at CAMP RIPLEY in January-February of '84.

It averaged 35 below (got down to 46 below one nite) the entire 13 days!!!

Had windows open here in NC for 9 days now, listening to rain, and NOT listening to furnace sucking fuel...

... 'til this AM.

Did any Americans STOP waving their US Flags on 09/11/01, because their arms were tired from waving it on 09/10/01?

Had to stay home today. Blizzard with 30-40 mph winds. Made it about 3 miles from the ranch and turned around. Complete white out and got my squad hung up several times. Weather man says it's gonna get worse. Nice thing is if we have a real emergency we have a snow plow on our emergency services pick up.

I am waiting for it to hit here in central Minnesota. Sounds bad. I have the misses informed that as soon as things look a little bad to head home from work. She only works 3 miles away. I have to work at the ski hill 3 miles away as well and am wishing I didn't have to today. Dog gone part time jobs for something to do in the winter.
