As usual; some good, some not-so-good.
Win FG, SN 13582xx
- SA43 repl. bbl, M2+ Th4+. Bad ding in muzzle crown.
- Mixmaster parts incl worn -9SA curved-side oprod, SA trigger group, 'new' 65-SA bolt
- BMB ctg lifter, gas cyl screw, & windage knob. :-(

A few upsides:
- Well worn original receiver finish, adequate heel stamping.
WRA stock (~rack grade condition, with no cartouches anywhere, except for just a trace of an original 'box'). Confirmed Win by numbers stamping under front ferrule.
- WRA gas cylinder

Received field grade today. Nothing collectible. Solid fg. SA rebuild. Lockup is poor, finish gone on some small parts. Lots of cosmo in some areas. Only part Winchester is the receiver and it appears to have been lead dipped. In spite of all this I'm real happy with the rifle an hope to get to shoot it tomorrow.

Love that olive color! I broke down and sent an order in....not sure if I'll make the cut or not. Sat on the fence for awhile and just pulled the trigger, I am very partial to the WRAs anyways and didn't make it to the NS during the games to pick one out so myself and now the stock is back to the normal NS inventory....so I'll roll the dice and keep my fingers crossed.

Got mine today. July 1941 dated 114xxx. Mix of post and early parts. Haven't broke it down but it has a -2 trigger housing I see 2-3 Italian parts and a VaR sight knob at first glance. Looks like a Danish walnut stock maybe.

Nice original finish on receiver with a SA 54 dated barrel. Readings are 2/3. Not sure what to do with this one. Think I may put up for trade to get a IHC or something.

Here are some pics of mine. No finish left on barrel or receiver. Some pitting on receiver. Looks like the receiver has a bit of a curve on the bottom that sits against the stock (1st photo) - like it got hammered on or something. Receiver drops into stock and wiggles a bit - no lock up and the trigger housing has no resistance when it locks in - everything is kind of loose. Decent set of handguards though the front has a hairline crack down it. The stock looked like it was beat with golf balls but I tried steaming a lot of the dents out. It has a WRA no date barrel, HRA bolt, SA trigger housing, SA op rod. I think if it came with a stock that locked up fine and wasn't as beat up I'd be a lot happier but I honestly think I got what the criteria was. M 3+ and T 2

Shot my WRA fg today. Functions well and seems to have normal accuracy for 3+ & 3+ barrel wear. Shot a clip of hxp floor sweepings at 50y to zero then a clip at 100y.

100y target pic.......

friend of mine just picked up his WRA Field grade today......FFL was unexpectedly on vacation for a week and he had to wait lol........a beauty of a FG.......Danish hang tag and matching Danish stock numbers and Serial number like mine......his also has the Danish stock disc cutout......stock has at rebuild stamp that has a SA visible over some other letters that are not visible.....he just stopped by on his way to work so i only got a glance at it......did even get a look at the barrel......did notice a few Winchester marked parts though.......hopefully i get a chance to take a better look at it and get some pictures to post up........

Pretty cool to have an SA Rebuild and have the correctly stamped SA Rebuild stock as well

I received Danish return WRA 242589X last Friday, lots of WW2 SA parts...probably all springfield as far as I can tell. 1-47 SA barrel that CMP gauged TE3 ME2 but with HXP 80 bullet, ME was about the same as the 2 SG's I got in march that were both at 3 and 1. Chamber in the white, bolt -12 W9B, op rod uncut 9, trigger housing -18, trigger guard -1 , hammer -7, has the winged plunger, safety is an IHC that has been broken and welded together again and filed down badly. The only other IHC part is the elevation knob that the teet is ground down to nothing. (maybe cmp will send me SA replacements)Ha! Gas cylinder has the dimple, and unknown mfgr lock screw T over PA. The other internals I'm not sure about...yet. So I'm imagining a 1947 rebuild somewhere (no receiver markings) it was pretty dirty also, took a solid 8 hrs to clean it up. First field grade, happy with my Springchester!!! Oh ya, don't dog me about gauges...been spending too much on rifles lately, lol.
