Just my opinion here, but if someone has knowledge that items being sold on this forum are not legitimate that thread should stay open to let potential buyers know. If facts and evidence are provided that lend credibility to the accuser of illegitimacy that should not be considered going off topic. It should be considered a service.

Ok lets me get this straight.

Some posts an item for sale on this forum - it is identified by source that is almost unquestionable as fake.

And then the posting party asks for the thread to be deleted and it is

please someone tell me I misunderstood this scenario
