I second Sean's ideas, repair & refinish OK. But a stock ID discussion would be way too convoluted with misinformation and incomplete info.

I think the discussion of furniture, cleaning, stamping, identification, etc would simply be a breeding ground of flaming. Everyone has their own idea of the best/most proper way to care for milsurp furniture. Having a forum devoted to it is not going to create any clarification.

Simple threads concerning the topic become battlegrounds of opinions. I don't see how it would improve with a whole dedicated section. Also, new folks may assume that those who have the loudest opinions are the "right" ones.
