I got tired of answering repetitive emails from folks telling me that they were already CMP members...

By definition, the term "member" means:
-noun 1. a person, animal, plant, group, etc., that is part of a society, party, community, taxon, or other body.

-adjective 2. being a member of or having membership in an association, organization, or club, etc.: member countries of the United Nations.

To get rid of the confusion, The Civilian Marksmanship Program is not a club.

You get the "user" title after 30 posts.

You really get people asking about the titles under their names?
Can I get "Stop crying" under mine?

Y'all be nice. Just a point of order - when I have to sign up to participate on the forum, I feel like I am a member of the forum. Not the CMP, I understand that, but of the forum.

I am sure GitM would work out a payment plan for you
or maybe a nice island in the Bahamas as a down payment.

Heck for that kind of $$$ you may have to buy a whole country for the CMP.

OK this will get fun. Is "User" a commentary on the Obsessive/Compulsive affliction many of us suffer, brought on by the craving that starts soon after our first purchase?
I NEED another Can of Ammo-Garand-Carbine- Bayonet-Kimber etc etc.
Is a 12 step program needed here to break the cycle spending/craving/spending?
Hi, I'm Presidentg and I am a CMP User.
