Shipped the same day they processed my card. It's a Rand. I'll post a photo if I can figure out how to do it.

Hmm, received the call 10/24 and haven't heard anything since?
Wait and see glad to see one has been delivered.

They will still find something to whine about to prove their point. I think that the worst of the litter may come from the Army Museum (approx 800 or so) but they may also have the auction stuff.

Not enough smarts to post pictures but Fed Ex showed up yesterday with my parkerized M1911A1. Remington Rand serial number shows it was born in 1945. Barrel has a different number than the serial number. Never got a random number. Only an email saying I had 5 days to confirm if I was still interested, what grade was my first choice and credit card information. I emailed back with the info , never spoke on the phone. Never got an email that it was being shipped out. The frame has A 2 83 under the M1911A1. I assume this is when maybe they parkerized it in 1983? couldn't find what A 2 stands for. Also on the left side of barrel lug is M P , research shows this may mean Magnafluxed Proofed. On the right side is MA. Not sure what that stands for. Asked for Service grade. There is a tag on it showing it was inspected at least for grade I guess in September.
