Default Change in web address?

The last day or two, I tried my usual "favorite" of www.thecmp.org/forums and got a "website not available message. I finally tried going through the CMP homepage and got to the forums that way - however, the website had changed over my "favorite" - it is now http://forums.thecmp.org -

Has the web address been changed? I've been out of town for a few days.

Please advise!

the page "www.thecmp.org/forums" has a redirect that will point your browser to the server that is hosting the forum at http://forums.thecmp.org. It has been that way since we moved to the new server. because so many people had the old link stored as a favorite it was easier to just add a redirect to that page. To get rid of that problem I suggest adding the link http://forums.thecmp.org to your favorites.

So , you did change over? I was on all morning yesterday, took a small break, came back like a hour later, loged on, kept getting redirected, thought my server had changed.
Man, I don't like the new site. It's confusing. I felt like a blind person who had the furniture moved around by a cruel room mate. With all due respect I think your new page Sucks, sorry to say.

If it aint broke dont fix it.

Strange - the "redirect" does so automatically, without the usual "intermediate" screen pointing out the fact? Thanks!

The "redirect" no longer seems to be working, at least with IEv9.

I thought the system was down until I tried the home page 2 days later.

Default Finding the CMP web page

No easy chore! until today, I simply typed in "thecmp", then clicked on cmp sales. This gave me the keys to the kingdom! Now, after much manipulating, searching and clicking, I've found what I believe may be the home page for CMP. Pretty convulated. Call me old fashioned, I liked the old "easy" way better!

OK, After the initial shock was over, and the panic and anxiety attacks past, I sat down this morning and took another look at it. Ok... figured it out, not as bad as I thought.

The banner at the top of the forum page comes up as a group of red X boxes for me. What gives? And when I try to go to the sales page it takes me to a totally different and new to me CMP page. Again, what gives?
