Hummm Anti Flash, how about changing the F stop, that should keep the flash at a Minimum. On a Lighter note all Powder fired ammo produces Gas that propels the Bullet, that Gas is the Byproduct of combustion. Try a Flash Hider, or shoot in well lighted areas, it reduces shadows.

in the night surface actions during the 1942/43 Solomon Islands campaign the U.S. Navy was severely hampered by the flash of their powder. the Japanese, who had perfected a "flashless" powder, had much easier gunnery solutions.

The U.S. eventually caught up- the technology is out there. I'm sure the U.S. uses it today but probably with diminishing returns as bore size shrinks.

there hasn't been any advertising for such commercial product I've seen over the last 30 years.

Most military specification small arms powders have a flash suppression additive(s). Examples of civilian equivalents include CFE223, TAC, 2460, IMR8208XBR, AR-Comp among others. Most Vihtavuori powders have flash suppression.

A number of handgun powders also have flash suppression additives.

The powder distributor’s web pages usually provide that information in their powder descriptions.

A web search will turn up more results...
