Default Rockola for Garand?

Hey all, gonna look at a Rockola carbine tomorrow, all I know about it is, it's not all original(obviously). Depending on what it looks like and how many Rockola parts are on it (not that I would know about that much) is it worth trading a Garand for being a mixmaster?

If is a Rock-Ola with at least its original Rock-Ola barrel, it is probably worth at least as much as a generic service grade mixmaster Garand.

I'm hoping it has it's original barrel..the Garand (2.2 million SA)is fairly correct and rebuilt by some-one/place, no etchings. 10-63 SA barrel, rear sights and stock incorrect.

That would be a really good straight up trade, even if it doesn’t have a rockola barrel.

Since the Garand has a non-original barrel, rear sights, and stock, I would say the Rock-Ola is likely worth more than your Garand.

I would do the trade. A Rock-ola carbine cant be found for $750 (Cost of a CMP service grade garand).

Okay, thanks all...found out its a 1.6 million, has a 7-49 SA barrel, band w/bayo lug, R marked front sight, later rear sight (that might be marked with a "HI" cant remember), stock with small ordnance wheel on right w/o the pot belly, think it had the flat bolt...but anyway, I seem to want it more than the other party wants to part with it but I'll keep workin on it... :-) Thanks again for everyones help and input!
