You can purchase any combination at anytime of 8 M1’s and a 1903 or 1903a3 (when available) and a M1917, annually, Jan-Dec....

PH68, What a fountain of information you provided for me while in the store yesterday. While in line in the drizzle I introduced myself to each and every of the customers. Found Wyoming was the far state represented, while I at 8 hour drive was second. The information available to the newbies expanded as “Old Doug” chimed in to point out the weapons of interest in the racks. Bobby, the armorer, was out in the store chatting up the particular guns in hand to help with selections. Great knowledgeable and helpful staff behind the counter.

Nobody should walk into that store with any fear of making a mistake, there is to much help waiting, and anxious to be given.

Nice selection of canvas slings, PH68 helped with that also.

Now on to the Mardi Gras in Mobile!

Default Friday opening report

There were 12 customers at opening and the racks were full. My numbers may be off a little due to customers activity. Stocks are about 50/50 CMP/USGI.

Armors today are Bobby and Hunter.

SA SG zero/ FG 30. There was a FG early six digit w/ early 1940 barrel and a nice NFR stock, not correct but still a very nice donor rifle... another one with the nicest pattern tiger striped stock I have ever seen, it’s an eye popper..

IHC SG 10 plus 10 gap letter, an 0-66 USMC rebuild/ FG 9

WRA SG 10/ FG 15.

HRA FG, 2.

CMP Specials/FG/RG 17 to include WRA FG/RG.

1903, 12

M1917, 12

Daisy air rifles, 6.

Good luck on your searches.

Default Thanks Tom for help on Thursday!!

Tom, Bill and I are sitting here after playing with the new toys. I was disappointed in the few SA Service Grade guns available. Anxious to see what I end up with for the 2 I have ordered in Jan. Sure are some nice IHCs there.
Bill loves his RG Win Special. Showed him how to lube it prior to shooting. It will be an amazing rifle for him.

We went to TMP) and found H&R and 31XXXXX SA correct grade rifles. George and Jerry from CO came in and George bought the H&R and I bought the SA.

The inventory at TMP is very low. Lots of RGSpecials and M1C/D's.

Best. Old Doug

I had a really great time at the store this morning. I was able to thank PH68 for all the store reports that I get to read. That tiger striped Garand sure was unique. I ended up with a Winchester 1917 that I had been looking for, a 3mil SA FG, and a WIN SG with serial #2323232. I even picked up a Daisy air rifle for my son. It was a good, albeit expensive day.

I stopped by and picked up a 1917. Very happy with this 1918 Remington.

I was so torn. I found an IHC FG with LMR Barrel, IHC bolt, IHC Stock, IHC OP Rod, WRA Gas Cylinder and front sight and complete HRA trigger group.

There were some great rifles in there. Some uncut WRA top rods, some lock bars, and two EMcF and one NFR stock. It has been two years since my last trip, and I was impressed.

It was great to see some gappers, but I felt 2k was too much when the receiver was the only IHC part.

Alas, I stayed with the original plan and only left with the 1917.

Congrats on the nice 1917 but there is no way I would have left that FG IHC in the rack.
