Default North store RGS Dec 1942. Stock refinish

My rack grade special I got at the North store last month. I died the stock using a mixture of Fiebrings dark brown die and Chestnut ridge military stock die. I oiled it with 4 coats of BLO/Mineral spirits 50/50 mix, I normally use RLO but just picked the BLO this time. I waxed it with my go to wax, Tom's 1/3 wax but I ran out and I'm waiting on a new jar to show up. I also thinking on get some black die to darken it up just a tiny bit on my next stock that I do. I might also leave out the Chestnut Ridge. I'm still waiting on my other two special experts to show up from the TMP. They screwed up and didn't send them, they were supposed to be here on the 15th but it looks like I'll get them on Tuesday. Thoughts on the stock color? Always looking to trade stock sets for Birch sets with alot of pattern .
to them.

Excellent work, that looks like the original GI stock on my ‘42 Garand. Outstanding job.
