Default Bula's Ultra Heavy 22" barrel.

I was going to wait till a couple of other projects got finished, but curiosity got the best of me. Went down in the shop this morning and mounted the monster on one of my version #1 XM21s. Went together very nicely and I reamed the headspace to 1.633. That barrel is so pretty and " big" , I am going to leave the handguard off for now.

A GI fiberglass stock on that fat-barrelled rig is kinda like getting a diet Coke with your large fries/double-meat Whopper meal.

Ok, using bulk pack , loose M118 LR at 100 yds.
6 sighters in 2 rnd sets marked 1 - 2 - 3 in order shot.

Next was lower right 10 rnds in 2".
Then upper left 10 rnds in 1.75.
Finally lower left 10 rnds in 1.5.

For a brand new barrel set in a USGI fiberglass standard stock, I am impressed.Total 36 rnds shot in about 15 minutes.

That looks nice Art. How do you like the Bula products? By the looks of some of your posts on M14 forum, you like them.

I was looking on their sight and interested in their stuff, especially for the costs.

Well Mike,
I do like their stuff and price is only a part of it.
They are great folks to work with and , I believe, headed to the top of the line.
I do not work for or receive payment from Bula Defense Systems or any other vendor I might use. I am just a happy customer that enjoys sharing with the gang. You may hear a couple of souls calling me a shill, or worse, but just consider the source. There is an awful lot of jealousy in the neighborhood.
Enjoy the hobby.

Getting there. I think a little more polishing on the sharp edge on the chamber and she will feed like whale sno?.
Hope to try some hand load tomorrow, but 1.5 ain't bad.
6 out of 10 in under an inch leaves some room for improvement.

The two I have are running between .5 and .75 for 10 rnd groups when I single load. That's one of the nice points about the XM21s second version, you can single load with your left hand without breaking your prone position much.
