    It's. W.M.I (William Morris Industries) copy of the USGI M14 bipod used on the M14E2 variant. <$100 vs $300+ for an OEM USGI model with stamps. WMI has welded feet vs brazed feet for USGI.

      The W.M.I. made M14 bipod is of good quality. The starting price for the Goodwill auction is about right. I have one that I believe I paid around $60 for it. I think W.M.I. is a Taiwan based company.

        WMI is Wayne Machine Inc. of Taiwan, a vendor of Sarco's for over 25 years... Sarco furnished many of those to the U.S. Navy for SEAL DMRs for the Iraqi war... But, they are NOT U.S. GI bipods...
