Default Old guy new to CMP

Purchased my 1917 Eddystone some 47 years ago in a gun shop for the sum of $40.00 dollars. It had the full military stock and a cut down stock as someone was going to sporterize it but never did. I did put the cut down military stock on it and hunted with it for years. This year I am restoring it to original stock and should have it finished in a couple of weeks. I always wanted an M1 Garand and as life has a way of getting in the way of plans I never got around to it until this year. I now own a 1953 SA that has all original SA parts. Yes, it shoots great. I think I should buy another one so that the first one does not get lonely.

X-New York, X-Illinois, Now living n Oklahoma.

You get it a companion and the next thing you know it will grow into a family.

They don't spend much time in the safe as I enjoy the company when I am home.

Thank you for the welcome I think I will enjoy learning about my new friend here at CMP (and the range).

Welcome to the site, and good luck with the P17 resto! Please post some pics when it's complete...

What part of OK, if you don't mind?
