Default John C. Garand Match questions

Is a sling allowed in each position?

Do you use your own ammo or issued ammo?

IS the COF the same regardless of where it is held or do the rules vary?

thanks!!!

Keith

Rather than cut and pasting it, you can find the courses of fire for the JCG match on page 52 and 53 of the current rule book. You can download it from the Competitions section of the main website at www.odcmp.com or you can click here: http://www.odcmp.com/Competitions/Rulebook.pdf

There are two courses of fire and which one is used depends on the decision of the match director.

Slings are used in the prone and sitting phases, but not in the standing. In standing, they are slung at the carry position.

Ammo availability depends on who and where the match is conducted. The match program will tell you if ammo is provided or if you need to bring your own. An email to the match director can clear it up as well.
