Rural Police shipped today. No tracking info yet. Probably will be picked up tomorrow and I will get it Friday. Sn is 2876xxx which puts it in the Underwood range. Figures, the other carbine I have on order is an Underwood. I guess we will see. chris3

Bavarian Rural Police
s/n: 5,551,xxx

mailed: 4-12
receieved: 4-15
dbu: 4-21
open: 4-27
cc hit: 5-3
processing: 5-4
shipped: 5-5
arrived: 5-6

It's a Winchester with two seperate single "w" markings on the barrel, ME <2, >1.5. type one or two barrel band (don't know the difference but there's no bayo lug)... ...that's about the end of the really good stuff. It's blued, nice and shiney, trigger guard is plumb colored.

Stock: HI
Bolt: AOB
Slide: N (NPM I assume)
Trigger Housing: SG

That's all I remember from my quick peek at things. Overall it's another great rifle from the CMP.

Dave is your NPM one of the rack grade?
I've been waiting a while for a service grade.

Mailed: 2/24
Received: 3/1
CC hit: 3/18
currently in pending land

and I really hate to ask, but, what does "DBU" mean

DBU is your first email that realistically means we received your order and will process it. Please do not bother us unless it is importent (such as cancell, downgrade or simular)
Yes mine was a rack grade. If you are really tired of waiting, try changing to a Bavarian and ask for the NPM. You may get lucky and I have read here that the Bavarians are quite nice.

Thanks
I guess I'll just wait and see what happens. Have two Bavarian police models already although a BP that is also NPM would be cool.
